- Eight players qualify: the first seven of the race, then a winner of one of the year's Grand Slam tournaments ranked eighth to twentieth, and otherwise the eighth of the race.
- How is this calculated?
- A player is counted out when enough rivals already have more points than the player could reach by winning a tournament in every week left. A player is counted as qualified when too few rivals could still reach their present total, or when the tour has confirmed it. These are limits, not exact scenarios: the rules on which results count are not replayed, so a player may be shown in the race a little longer than is strictly possible, never the other way round. Level on points keeps a player in and qualifies nobody. Standings are taken from Wikipedia, and each import is checked against the totals it publishes.
