Privacy policy

In short

You can use TitleMath without an account and without giving your name or email address. We keep as little data as the site needs to work.

Data we handle

• Notifications, if you turn them on: the technical address your browser gives us to reach your device, its encryption keys and the language you chose. They are stored encrypted, used only to send title updates, and deleted when you turn notifications off or when your browser withdraws the address.
• Language: a cookie remembers which language you read the site in.
• Theme: your day or night choice is stored in your browser only and never sent to us.
• Audience measurement, only if you accept it: Google Analytics records pages viewed, approximate location, device type and how you reached the site. IP addresses are anonymised and advertising features are switched off.
• Server logs: like any website, our host records technical requests (IP address, time, page) for security and troubleshooting.

Legal basis

Notifications and audience measurement rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. The language cookie, the session cookie and server logs rely on our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site.

Who receives data

Notifications are delivered through the push service of your browser maker (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft). If you accept audience measurement, data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred outside the European Union under the safeguards Google provides. Our host processes server logs. We do not sell data and do not share it with anyone else.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent. Write to the contact address on the legal notice. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
